soil mix for Anthuriums Seedlings

Anthuriums thrive in a well-drained soil mix that ensures good aeration and moisture retention. The mix should be light, airy and well-draining to avoid waterlogging.
This is the mixture we recommend for anthuriums (seedlings):

Adult plant ingredients:
Orchid bark: orchid bark helps to improve drainage and aeration in the soil mix. We use medium sized pieces of orchid bark between 6-9 mm.

Perlite: Perlite improves drainage and prevents the soil from becoming compacted.

Coconut fibers: Coconut coir can retain moisture well.

Worm humus: Worm humus is rich in nutrients and beneficial microorganisms that promote soil health and plant growth.

Pumice (small): Pumice is a lightweight volcanic rock that improves soil drainage and prevents compaction. I use small pumice with a size of about 4 mm.

Activated charcoal: Activated charcoal helps to remove toxins and odors from the soil while promoting a healthy root environment.

Optional:
Soil (for plants in aquariums): We are currently testing Soil on some cuttings as it contains some very beneficial micronutrients.
Soil: A good quality, balanced soil can add stability and some nutrients to the mix.
