From this batch of seeds, five distinctive plants received their own names. A. 'RVDP' is the most well-known. The others are Anthurium 'Night Dragon', Anthurium 'Red Dark Phoenix', Anthurium 'Bullion', and Anthurium 'Peach Lava'.

Anthurium 'Red Vein Dark Phoenix' (RVDP) and 'Red Dark Phoenix' (RDP) were subsequently marketed by Thai Exotic. Anthurium 'Night Dragon' was given to a few collectors in the USA, Indonesia, Thailand, and China. The latter two have so far only been hybridized but not further marketed.

It is noteworthy that there is no direct genetic relationship to Anthurium 'Dark Phoenix' and the name seems to have originated from certain similarities.
