The two lines A. 'Dreamweaver' and A. 'Necromancer' emerged from a selection program of the A. 'Red Crystallinum Tezula' line and were chosen for their outstanding characteristics. They are therefore sister plants.
A. 'Dreamweaver' is characterized by an intense red in the newly unfolding leaves. This pigmentation remains clearly visible in the early stages of development before changing to a darker green.
In contrast, A. 'Necromancer' exhibits a distinct purple coloration in young leaves. The original cultivar A. 'Necromancer' - selected from the same genetic line - is no longer in cultivation. Currently, only A. Necromancer S1 (also called Necromancer 2) exists, a first generation self-pollination (S1) of the original A. Necromancer plant.
